I think that in the next century,
vegetarianism will grow because it is so much
more efficient. We are going to see increasing
water shortages, and food shortages. You can feed
many more people a vegetarian diet with the same
amount of food resources (land, water, energy,
human labor --- all the inputs that make food
production possible), compared to the amount of
people you can feed a meat based diet using the
same amount of resources. It takes sixteen pounds
of grain to make a single pound of feedlot beef.
It takes only one pound of grain to make a pound
of bread, or rice.
I wish your efforts all the best,
and yes, you can translate what I've written and
put it on your website.
