踏入2007年的你，对自己或我们这个居住的世界许下了什么愿望呢？
今年蕃茄小屋特邀请了几位国外的素食朋友与小屋的作者，请他们说说对2007年的祈愿，并且刊登在此与大家分享与共勉，祈愿大家心想事成，事事圆满！

The last months of 2006 brought us
very uplifting news, namely the health
benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle
were praised frequently in the international
press and furthermore great attention
was drawn to smart veggies: 'High
IQ link to being vegetarian'. However,
the biggest surprise was the FAO press
release, dated 29 November 2006, finally
admitting a
well-known fact: 'Livestock major
threat to environment '.
For
2007 I wish that this influx of scientists
and organizations speaking out for
vegetarianism is going to continue
and that the benefits of our compassionate
lifestyle are becoming a hot topic
of discussion verywhere.

2006年的最后几个月带给我们几则振奋人心的新闻，即，素食对健康的益处多次的被国际性的媒体所称同，而且”高智商孩童多成素食者”的研究报告也引起许多人的高度注意。不过，最大的惊喜是联合国食品农业组织(FAO)在11月29日所发表的新闻稿中终于承认一个众所周知的事实：”
家畜业是环境最大的威胁来源”。
在2007年，我希望科学家与研究组织出面为素食主义讲话的情形能够继续，而且素食者慈悲的生活方式所带来的益处能够在各地成为一热门的话题。
